The University of Bridgeport will celebrate the traditions, cultures, food, and languages of its multi-cultural student body for International Education Week from November 18 to 22. Each day will feature unique International cuisines, an introductory language lesson, a unique cultural event and more.
Featured daily cuisines include Filippino, Russian, Nigerian and Peruvian, which will be available Monday to Friday at Marina Hall. Want to learn how to say "thank you" in Arabic or "how are you" in French? Stop by one of the daily language classes that meet each day in the Fresh Tossed dining hall. Plus, each day offers multiple cultural activities, including an Indian Rangoli design contest, international movie night and a K-pop dance workshop.

International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide and promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
